Application Templates & CLI

Application Templates turn approved agent capabilities into repeatable, version-controlled delivery packages.

Anatomy of an AEP Application Blueprint

Every template bundle downloaded from AEP contains four canonical artifacts:

├── manifest.yaml # Blueprint metadata, schema version, SOR controls ├── src/ │ └── handler.ts # Type-safe entrypoint invoking the agent runtime ├── package.json # Isolated dependencies with pinned supply-chain digests ├── tsconfig.json # Strict TypeScript compiler options └── .gitignore # Pre-configured to prevent secret commits

Manifest Example (manifest.yaml)

# AEP Governed Application Blueprint schema_version: aep.app/v1 id: app-fraud-review-desk name: Fraud review desk template_ref: tpl-fraud-review-desk project_id: proj-promo-workbench environment: staging governance: enforce_policy: true evidence_required: true two_person_rule: true network: ingress: allowed_sources: ["aix-gateway"] egress: allowed_destinations: ["aix-mcp.aix-cloud:8081", "aix-agent.aix-cloud:8443"]

CLI Inner-Loop Scaffolding

Initialize your local project workspace using the aix CLI:

# 1. Initialize from approved template aix aep init --template tpl-fraud-review-desk --project proj-promo-workbench # 2. Run local mock verification aix aep precheck --local # 3. Package and submit for CI/CD evidence signing aix aep package --target gcp
